Hi Saif,
I appreciate your work and courage. Let’s keep the work going.

a big thanks. Yes it was not easy. But once you are enlightened you forget every thing. Together we can make things happen.
take care

Brother Saif, congratulations on your enlightenment. I discarded my Islaam in 2004 after realising that the Qur’aan was authored by man. Despite all the claims, like most religions, Islaam does more damage than good to humanity. If an individual wants to believe in one deity alone, he or she doesn’t need Muhammad or the Qur’aan for that worship. Personally, I’m an atheist and will never return to Islaam. Muslims are intellectually suppressed by their religion and are missing out on life with such a narrow-minded, exclusive, and dismal perspective on reality. Leaving Islaam was the greatest decision I’ve ever had to make, but probably the most difficult one. I struggled immensely during the process of deprogramming my mind of the junk that was indoctrinated by religion and society. I found myself. I’m not like Muhammad, nor do I desire to be. Salaams!
I guess I too am an atheist in the conventional sense. I certainly don’t belong to any religion (by choice), though born hindu. Just to give you an idea of the challenge we have ahead of us, I used to think Islam is a religion and that the terrorists are misunderstanding it just 2-3 weeks back.
Now after reading about dhimmis and apostasy deaths, I think moderate muslims vouching for quran/sharia are more dangerous. I don’t think they are bad. Every religion has some bad teachings, but Islam almost forces its adherents to follow its bad teachings. Being a non-muslim, if I criticise Islam too much, I might hurt sentiments here. But the challenge is really tough.
islam is not just another religion thanks to ffi for opening my eyes. i am filipino ex muslim
Warm welcome to enlightenment. But be cautious and for the time being keep it to yourself.
bye

Have you had any problems with with your family, or are you keeping it hidden?
so.. what’s your reason for apostasy? and when did you apostatize?
salahuddin
Reading the quran was a thing I never liked. Nevertheless I decided to read the english translation and to my astonishment I found that it was all lies & hate. I thanked myself for not torturing me learning the arabic quran. Like others for me also it was not a easy task leaving Islam and I am proud of you people who are serving the cause of leaving this cult of hate.
saif
you seem to have the wrong impression of islam. we’ve left islam but it’s obviously not a cult nor a particularly “hate mongering” religion.
in fact… people who despise islam and other apostates who vehemently oppose it are the hate mongerers that i see.
Yes I agree, but we have to be brutal to Islam. We are against hate. The hate part is the core of Islam. What should we do about it. One way is mocking and ridiculing. I think it is the better option.
saif
mocking and ridiculing will only fan flames. humor that appeals to MUSLIMS (moderate & liberal) is ONE solution.
the best solution is to adopt anti-hate… that is; love & forgiveness.
You can not fight hatred with rebuking or aggressive behavior. Love is the only way out. We have to learn to forgive and then to love…
I think the time to learn forgiveness has already passed. But then I could be wrong also. If you are right, please tell me how to go about it.
saif
saif… !
im impressed with ur active and fast mode of working. i’d like to discuss more on this issue .
take care
it’s never too late to learn to be forgiving.
you have to decide to pursue such a path first…
see what you make of this:

I have changed my instance.
what what? instance? :S
Hate thrives on hate. So if we are going to use the same tactic then eventually it will backfire on us. I also know that a human being is not a born evil. I am trying to bring out the falsity of the quran by logically proving that it is wrong. I will remain compassionate as much as possible. That’s it.
saif
I am glad to hear that. Would you like to sign the oath?
also, email me. I’d like to talk
Yes. I would like to sign. my email address is saif.indore@google.com. Do you have a orkut id. if yes please send me the link.

Respected brother ,
It requires great courage to come out of a hateful feeling / way of living especially when everyone around is threatening you with violence and socially ostracism . You are one of the growing tribe who has the guts to understand his real nature and then ask the world that you live in wether the violence it perpetuates in name of peace is really so . I Bow down in reverenece to your feelings and feel you are Great Aatma with stregth of character .
God bless you and give you strength and courage to face the world on your terms.

Dear Cyberhinwa,
Thanks for you kind, strong and supportive words. I am indeed grateful to you. Remember we have to fight hate and not faith.
saif
Saif, Religion is the most essential man made identity. Dont you think so you have lost it. If you are such a great peace lover you could have remained islam and preached positive aspects of islam for the next generation than running away from the religion. What do you think.
Madhu
Your first statement completes the whole shebang and you are absolutely correct that religion is a man man entity but it is not the most essential thing for mankind. Humans want to remain free not bonded. Religious dogmas and sacramental services bind a man and restricts his free thinking, which is the most important thing needed today.
Do you think that leaving a faith is a joke, no my dear it is the toughest job one could endeavor up on. I am an ex muslim and I have watched Islam closely. It is total lies and it preaches hate. There is nothing positive in it. I am not running way from it but I am exposing the real face of Islam. Also note that muslims themselves are victim of Islam.
There seems to be some nice discussion about how to deal with Islam over here. Whether to be forgiving or aggressive.
I personally would like to say, it doesn’t so much matter right now. Presently, the common man doesn’t know the true nature of Islam, including muslims themselves. Educating everybody especially about the apostasy laws and the obvious incompatibility of Islam (in its present form) with democracy and freedom goes a long way in marking the battle lines first. Violence is obviously not an answer, but we should be able to state clearly why Islam in its present form is not acceptable to us.
I am still struggling for the right words, though my fear of Islam is strong.

Hello n salam.
I donno y ppl leave a faith, but there are some questions we must necessarily ask ourselves.
1)Who made this complex world??
2)Atleast who made the human body??
Its complexity is still under investigation by us.
Man is just a small creation but wat abt the world,
who made it?
3)So why did he made Man?
4)What does this life mean?does it say something?
Do have i some goals?shud i follow some rules of life?
5)So if God exists,n he made humans, then wat does
he want us to do?
6)So how can a man connect with God?
7)Is it religion which connects a human with God?
8)If religion connects us with God, which is the best religion?
9)Ok If so n so religion is true, shud i sit with a scholar
who is a real scholar of that religion and clear my small and big doubts?
10)Do i have a responsibilty for all my acts if i am able to
understand right and wrong?
11)Is there a life hereafter?If yes,how is it,if no then y not?
12)All people live happily, but some(or most) get assaulted in
many ways by many people in their life.So if a person loses
something, how is he/she going to get it back?
Is it on the day of Resurrection??
13)If i am a non-believer of some faith or priciple, i dont know anything,or i havn’t been practical about it, i find many barriers to my
good & bad liberal thoughts n also i dont want to be imprisoned
by religious thoughts & i start criticizing this faith, and if the faith is right, will not God punish me??
14)Should i study correctly about every faith/religion before saying anything about it.As the saying goes, knowledge is an ocean.
15)last but not the least Do i want success in this Life and hereafter,
wats the best path?Which path will lead me to paradise/hell?
Thanx.
iapostate,
pls enlignten ur ex-brethern in all the ways possible to get out of ISLAM …….
